Regular Open Hours: Every Wednesdays 9:30-3:30pm and the 2nd and 4th Saturday 9:30-12:30

Holiday Closures: Nov. 26, 2014 and  Dec. 17, 24, 31, 2014 

(Reopening on Jan 7, 2015)

Additional Hours:

November 13 and 20, 2014 7-9pm

Dec.6th and 13th 9:30-12:30pm

Class Schedule

FREE Family History Classes 2014 and 2015

  • Class Registration: Email your name, am or pm time slot, and class dates

Classes held Wednesdays: 10-11 am and repeated 7:30-8:30pm (Sign up after class for individual help or for guided practice labs as needed.)

Sept. 17 Family Tree Part 1 - Using an individual’s page: adding and editing details and relationships, reviewing and merging duplicate records of an individual

Sept. 24 Family Tree Part 2 – Adding documentation on an individual’s page using Records Hints links, your Source Box, and tips on searching the digital Record Collections

Oct. 1 Family Tree Part 3 - Adding Memories: photos, documents, and stories

Oct. 8 Searching the FH library Catalog and Ordering Films Online at FamilySearch.org (Free FamilySearch.org account is required to order films.)

Oct. 15 My Johnstown Story – a case study learning to use a variety of sources
