Parish History

CLIFFE, WEST (St. Peter), a parish, in the union of Dovor, hundred of Bewsborough, lathe of St. Augustine, E. division of Kent, 2¾ miles (N. E.) from Dovor.[1]


Westcliffe is part of the urban district of Dover in Kent and a part of the civil parish of St Margaret's at Cliffe in the Dover district of Kent.

West Cliffe St Peter is an Ancient Parish in the diocese of Canterbury and is part of the group of churches St Margarets at Cliffe with West Cliffe.

The church of St Peter, Dover Road, St Margaret's at Cliffe has been designated as a grade II* listed building British listed building
