Quick Facts

Weston was settled in 1865 by Mormon settlers. The original settlement was 3 miles west of the present townsite. The total population of the Weston precinct in 1930 was 878[1].

Geographic location

Located 2.5 miles west of Bear River in Cache Valley, It is 26 miles northwest of Logan, Utah; 25 miles southeast of Malad, Idaho; 10 miles south of Clifton, Idaho; 3 miles north of the Utah-Idaho boundary; and 8 miles southwest of Preston, Idaho.[2]
