When you stop pressing the left mouse button, the text will be highlighted. Now place the cursor somewhere within the highlighted text and press Ctrl and c simultaneously. Now the text is copied.)

On April 27, 1942, the Selective Service conducted the fourth of six draft registrations related to WWII. The "World War II Selective Service Draft Cards: Fourth Registration, 1942" is often referred to as the “Old Man’s Registration” or the “Old Man’s Draft" because it included men with a date of birth from April 28, 1877 to February 16, 1897. Since there is overlap in the WWI and WWII Selective Service registration, men born in the years 1877 to 1900 may have registered twice and have both WWII and WWI draft records.

12a. The page might have already had text and a link to the Historical Records Collection. If so, delete the previous link to that collection.
12b. The page might have already had other text. Make reasonable changes so that there is no duplication and parts of the pasted text appear in a logical place. Note that the edit box reverted to the Rich Text Editor, so select “Wikitext” to preserve the desired formatting. (See the sample completed section below for an example where modifications were made.) Click on the "Show preview" button again to review your changes before saving.
13. Enter a brief explanation in the Summary field (example: added text and links to World War II).
14. Save the page and exit.
15. Return to the instruction page on the other tab or instance of the wiki.
16. You made no changes to this page so you can exit by selecting the back button in the upper left of the page.
17. The task is complete. Initial the cells in both “Historical Records” and “See Also” on the Progress Chart if you were able to complete all edits.
