History
The Window Rock Area Office was established in 1949[1].
Records
Some records for the Window Rock Area Office and its predecessors, 1915-1954, are in the Pacific Regional Archives of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in Laguna Niguel, California[2]. Included among these records are some birth and death certificates and census rolls, in addition to the administrative and financial records of the office.
Other records for The Window Rock Area Office, 1952-1961, are in the National Archives Rocky Mountain Region (Denver)[3].
