Dodge County
Dodge County existed from 1846 to 1853. It was originally created from part of western Putnam County and unorganized territory to the west. In 1849, the northern half became part of Iowa after the U.S. Supreme Court decision settling the Iowa and Missouri boundary dispute. The remaining southern half was annexed into Putnam County, Missouri in 1853.
