Indexing Workshops - Basic and Italian

Pre-registration is required. Call 801-240-9618 to register for this course or add your name to a waiting list for a future class.

The Basic Indexing class teaches basic indexing skills, how to read old English handwriting and other basic language resources and helps available, as well as the arbitration process. This class will be helpful for all levels of indexers.

The Italian Indexing class teaches how to index Italian records, which is a high priority FamilySearch Indexing project. Italian language skills are not needed for this class. However, Basic Indexing skills or some indexing experience would be helpful. Handouts will be provided.

Open Lab classes will offer any help with all indexing issues.
