IrfanView is a free graphics editing program designed for capturing and editing photos and documents. It is helpful in acquiring and preparing digital images for family history projects and genealogy programs. This class teaches the basic features and functions of both IrfanView and the Snipping Tool. Basic computer skills are necessary for this class to be a good experience.

The Basic Indexing class teaches basic indexing skills, how to read old English handwriting and other basic language resources and helps available, as well as the arbitration process. This class will be helpful for all levels of indexers.

The Italian Indexing class teaches how to index Italian records, which is a high priority FamilySearch Indexing project. Italian language skills are not needed for this class. However, Basic Indexing skills or some indexing experience would be helpful. Handouts will be provided.
