Parish History

Tufnell Park, ecclesiastical district, Islington parish and borough, Middlesex, in N. of London.[1]

Additional information:

St George Tufnell Park was one of approximately 50 district churches populating this ancient, civil parish. These church were built to handle and ease the population growth of this borough from mostly between 1835 to 1900. St George was built by about 1858 and lay within the civil parish boundaries of St Mary Islington.
