During this past month you may have noticed the occasional slight delay in response time as you’ve used the FamilySearch website. We even had a few occasions when FamilySearch was down for an hour or so. We’ll, we want to tell you what the issue was and thank you for your patience as we worked through this matter.
We came to discover that we have had a series of problems with one piece of Internet equipment. This troublesome hardware has been especially difficult to isolate and diagnose. It was randomly turning parts of itself off without telling anyone. We finally figured out what the problem was and have corrected it.
