We have completed more than 100 million records so far this year! And each of those records was indexed twice and arbitrated when needed. Great work!
Now we need your help to reach 200 million records by the end of 2010! We can do it if we all work together. What greater way to pursue our goal of providing online access to billions of records worldwide? The goal set at the beginning of the year was to reach 169 million records in 2010. We think we can far surpass this goal if everyone gets involved.
Here is the challenge. In the past year, over 95,000 registered users have submitted at least one batch. If each of those individuals indexes or arbitrates about 2,500 records in the next five months (or 118 records per week) we can accomplish our goal with flying colors. Now the truth is that with summer vacations and holidays, half of us will probably submit less than 1,000 records by the end of the year, so we need as much help from each individual as he or she feels comfortable giving.
We’ll announce the top indexer and arbitrator each week along with our total progress on our Facebook page. (You don’t need to register for Facebook to see these updates.) So go out and have fun indexing, check the Facebook page for updates on our progress, and tell your friends!
In fact, why not take a few minutes to do some indexing right now?
