Any chance this will be available online? Simulcast or downloadable file?
Re. the Family History Library Classes such as the Jan 18th “Correcting Relationships in Family Tree” – I would love to see more classes from the FHL made available to local FHC’s as power point presentations for local instruction.
I agree with this. It would be great for us Consultants to have such a presentation that we can learn up on and then do the classes when necessary.
PLEASE POST in-depth THE ANSWERS!
Most of us don’t live in Salt Lake City or even Utah!!!
this sounds great, but there are lot’s of us who do not live in Utah and therefore can not hop a flight to come. Will there be a video on this?
Do we have to have a pass to park free?
Why not have this at the Riverton Library also? I have a hard time getting around and the Riverton library has convenient parking and easier for me to get too.
Did anyone else notice that this class is being taught in Spanish only?
Will there be an English version coming soon?
will this class be taught in English? when?
I am very interested in learning about fixing errors in my family tree. How can I hear this in english? Why would you produce it in spanish only?
It is not so much the errors, they are easily fixable. My problem and I have heard form many who use this service is that people change YOUR family tree family member when you know and have information yours is correct, especially when you have been there and they have not. This service has become so discouraging because of the many changes to your line. Family Search says collaborate with people but if you send an email, if they have one posted, you never get a return explanation. The system has very good intentions but you cannot control others actions on others True Family information.
I will still use it but on a limited bases and for submitting Temple work. which is another point People can and do resubmit duplicate temple work for the same ancestors that have had their work completed several times of which this site tries to stop it.
However keep up the good work and it will get better .
Desejo retomar a genealogia do meu pai… há muito o que fazer.
I wish to resume my dad’s genealogy … There is plenty to do.
Will this class be presented in English? Not all of us live in Utah. It would be great if these type of classes could be done on Webinars like they do in Roots Magic. Then they could be viewed anywhere.
I can relate to the Spanish problem and I would love to see more classes in Canada, Okanagan Valley, like possiblY Vernon or Salmon Arm B.C. Small towns have little chance to really learn the program INSIDE OUT.
