I’d like to answer some of the questions that have been posted on the FamilySearch Blog regarding the online film ordering system. My apologies for not responding to your comments sooner.
Using Links from the Homepage
A lot of you have asked where on the Homepage is the link that will take you to the order page. We hope to have that link available on the homepage within the next month or two. We also plan on placing an order link on each film page within the catalog.
Ordering Duplicate Films
Online film ordering will not allow you to order duplicate films. If a film has been ordered and has not yet been delivered, it cannot be ordered again.
Viewing the Status of Your Order
In order to look up the status of your order, go to familysearch.org/films. If you are already signed in, click the My Account link. Then click the My Orders link located in the right panel. A list of films you have ordered will be displayed along with the status and return date of each film.
Availability of Online Film Ordering
Online Film Ordering is now available to everyone within the United States as well as many of the international areas of the Church.
