Now that RootsTech 2013 is over, we can finally catch our breath and reflect on what a great conference it was. We want to thank everyone who took part in this family history conference, both those who attended in Salt Lake City and remotely. Hopefully each of you enjoyed yourself with some of the excellent presentations that were made.
This year’s RootsTech conference was a remarkable success. We had approximately 6,770 total registered attendees. More than 13,000 people tuned in to watch the live streaming sessions. More than 1,500 youth attended a special youth-oriented program. Altogether, more than 21,000 people were able to take part in RootsTech 2013. That’s exciting!
There was great content with excellent keynote speakers and more than 250 sessions and workshops. For those who did not get to attend all the classes you wanted, you can access selected classes and keynote addresses by visiting www.rootstech.org.
Selected portions of the worldwide consultant training for family history consultants will be available online shortly. As soon as they are we will let you know and give you the link.
We’d love to get your feedback about this year’s event. We’d also like to hear your suggests of what might make RootsTech 2014 even better. Please take a moment and share your thoughts with us by visiting Info@rootstech.org.
