What is Indexing Support?

Indexing is the initial process of transcribing information from digitized records. Every person who signs in to FamilySearch Indexing is automatically assigned Indexing rights. Support handles all Indexing questions no matter the project language or country of origin.

The purpose of FamilySearch Indexing Support is to aid guests in creating a freely searchable, accurate database from historical records.
