How do I find the new help search (FamilySearch Helper) that was announced at RootsTech?

At RootsTech 2024, FamilySearch announced FamilySearch Helper, a new product that can help you search the FamilySearch Help and Learning content using artificial intellligence (AI).

FamilySearch Helper pulls information from the Help and Learning Center, RootsTech, the FamilySearch wiki, FamilySearch Centers, and more to answer your questions.

Steps (website)

  1. While signed in on FamilySearch, go to FamilySearch Labs.
  2. On the Find Help with AI card, click Turn On, then Go to Experience.
  3. Please tell us about your experience, either using the Feedback button on the FamilySearch Helper experience or in our community group dedicated to this product.
