How do I change the name of an album?

The titles of albums can make memory items easier to find. You can change titles.

Steps (website)

1. Sign in to FamilySearch.
2. At the top of the page, click Memories.
3. Click Gallery.
4. In the sidebar on the left, click the album with the title you want to change.
5. Near the top, under the green circle with the + sign, click Edit Title.
6. Enter the new title and click Save.

Steps (mobile app)

1. In the Memories mobile app:
   
   • Apple iOS: Tap Albums in the banner at the bottom of the screen.
   • Android: Tap the three lines at the top left of the screen, then tap Albums.
2. Tap the album with the title you want to change.
3. At the top, tap the three dots. 
4. Tap Edit album.
5. Enter the new title and click Save or Done.
