How do I delete an album in my Memories gallery?

Before you begin

• If you delete an album, the album contents remain in your Memories Gallery.
• You cannot restore a deleted album.

Steps (website)

1. Sign in to FamilySearch
2. Click Memories and then Gallery.
3. On the left, click the title of the album that you want to delete.
4. Near the top, click Delete Album.
5. To confirm, click Delete Album.

Steps (mobile)

Albums do not show in the Family Tree app. To manage albums, use the Memories app.

1. Open the Memories app on your Android or Apple iOS mobile device.
2. Open Albums:
   
   • On an Apple iOS device, tap Albums at the bottom of the screen.
   • On an Android device, tap the 3 lines icon and then tap Albums.
3. Tap the title of the album that you want to delete.
4. In the top-right, tap the 3 dots icon.
5. Tap Delete Album.
6. To confirm on Apple iOS, tap Delete Album.
