How do I save the memories I find?

The Memories Gallery includes Bookmarks feature where you can save your favorite memory items. You can add memories to your Bookmarks even if someone else added the memory.

Steps (website)

Add an item to Bookmarks

  1. Sign in to FamilySearch.
  2. At the top of the page, click Memories, and then click Gallery.
  3. In the left panel, click Memories under Bookmarks.
  4. In the center top of the screen, click the green circle (+). Follow the on-screen instructions. 

Add an existing memory item to Bookmarks

  1. While signed in to FamilySearch, click a memory item.
  2. Near the top, to the right of the title, click the bookmark icon (looks like a bit of ribbon). 
  3. The bookmark icon indicates that the item is now in the Bookmarks folder.

Steps (mobile app)

The Bookmarks feature is not available on the Family Tree and Memories mobile apps. Visit the FamilySearch website.

Steps (Family Tree Lite)

Family Tree Lite does not include the Memories feature. Visit the full website.
