Where is my linked account to Ancestry?

Steps (website)

  1. Sign in to FamilySearch.org. Do not sign in to Ancestry.
  2. Go to the Ancestry Special Access page.
  3. Click Join for Free.
  4. Select your language, and click Continue. Notes:
    1. If you have a linked account with Ancestry but are unable to sign in, you see this message: "We're sorry, your FamilySearch account has already been linked to an account on Ancestry."
    2. You also see the name, username, and email address of the account connected to FamilySearch.
    3. If the name or account is not yours, or you no longer have access to the email address, please contact FamilySearch Support.
  5. If you have access to the email address and know your password, take these steps:
    1. Click Sign in to Ancestry.
    2. Enter your email address or username and your password.
    3. If you do not know the password, click Don't know your password.
    4. If you are unable to reset your password, please contact FamilySearch Support.
  6. Important notes:
    • Do not delete or create another Ancestry account.
    • Do not change the email address on your Ancestry or FamilySearch account.
    • Do not revoke access to Ancestry using FamilySearch Settings.
