If you cannot update your device's operating system, you can try using FamilySearch.org using a web browser instead.

The Get Involved mobile app must run on a device that runs the following:
- Android: Android 10 or higher
- Apple: iOS 17 or higher
Minimum for the Family Tree mobile app
The Family Tree mobile app must run on a device that runs the following:
- Android: Android 10 or higher. You must also use 3.3.0 or higher of the Family Tree mobile app.
- Apple: iOS 17 or higher. You must also use version 3.6.7 or higher of the Family Tree mobile app.
Find the operating system information
On an Android device:
1. Open your device's settings.
2. Tap About Phone or About Device.
3. Tap Android Version to display your version information.
On an iOS device:
1. Launch Settings.
2. Tap General, and then tap About.
3. The number next to version indicates the iOS version.
