What to Test: Landscape and Portrait pedigrees

On FamilySearch Labs, click Try It under Family Group Trees.

You should be able to display your Family Group Tree on the landscape and portrait views. The fan chart, descendancy, and first ancestor views don't work with a Family Group Tree yet.

All of the options should work the same as they do elsewhere in Family Tree.

Landscape and Portrait

  1. Switch to a view screen. On that view:
    1. Move every person in your family group tree to the main position by selecting their profile card and selecting View Tree on the side panel.
    2. Navigate through the various ancestor or descendant lines. Use the Home and Reset View options.
    3. Click Options, and use the various options.
    4. Print a few charts.
    5. Use the zoom feature.
    6. Switch between the the Family Group Tree and the FamilySearch Tree.
    7. Invite someone new to the family group.
    8. Return to the group information page.
  2. Switch to a different view and repeat.
