FamilySearch Center Tools
Introduction to Center Tools
Introduction
FamilySearch strives to meet the needs and provide positive experiences of people worldwide as they seek to connect their families. Many helpful resources are available to guests through FamilySearch centers. To assist potential visitors in locating current information about individual FamilySearch centers, including their location, operational status, and available resources, FamilySearch has introduced Center Location pages.
To ensure the most current and accurate information, Center Location pages are updated and maintained by local stake leaders through Center Tools. Previously, FamilySearch Center information updates relied on CDOL (Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders). However, Center Tools simplifies access and editing for leaders, making the process more efficient and user-friendly.
The types of FamilySearch center information that can be edited on Center Tools includes the following:
- Hours of operation
- Services available
- Equipment and resources available
- Classes offered
- Announcements
- Links to social media pages
