George Gardiner (ca. 1690-1742) married Ann Vicars/Vickers at Stanhope Parish, Durham Co., England in 1715. In 1817, one descendant, Francis and his wife, Ann Blades Gardiner; with their seven children and their families immigrated to Quebec, Canada. Descendants and relatives spread throughout Ontario, and some of them immigrated to the United States.
