English
Salt Lake City, Utah : Filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1963, 1983
on 84 microfilm reels ; 16 mm.

Notes

Microfilm copy of handwritten card file at New York Municipal Archives, New York City.

Some rolls were filmed in New York (City) by Microfilming Service, Recordak Corporation, Subsidairy of Eastman Kodak Co.

Some microfilms end with certificates listed as unknown male or female.

The alphabetical index to the death certificates gives the number of the death certificate pertaining to each entry. In a few cases, the card file was out of alphabetical order when it was filmed. One such instance is 1877-1878 Willman to Murphy and 1878-1879 Mopman to Clay. In all these cases both films must be searched, since surnames falling within either sequence will appear on both films; however, the entries for individuals on one film are completely different from the entries for individuals on the other.
