Chesuncook is an extinct plantation, now an unorganized territory (township) in the Northwest Piscataquis townships of Piscataquis County, Maine. Chesuncook Plantation was at first organized from Township 4 and 5 Thirteenth Range West of the Easterly Line of the State (T4 R13, and T5 R13) about 1859. When it was reorganized in 1921 Chesuncook Plantation only included T5 R13. Chesuncook surrendered its plantation organization in 1933, and since has remained unorganized territory.[1] [2]
