  • Share best practices, ideas, and content.
  • Discuss current issues, community matters, and strategies.
  • Move issues to decision.

Kudos to the whole team for keeping things caught up.  We could not do this without you. (Lee & Sandra).

Priority items for this meeting:

  1. Choose a county/parish to focus on if you have reviewed the larger area.  Delve a little deeper on localities to identify items for Help Wanted pages.  Researchers rely heavily on county/parish resources.  We can identify needs on these pages.  See: locality.

         Example:  Georgia > Effingham

         Many topics are blank.  This can be added to the Help Wanted page for Georgia.

     2.   Review items across spreadsheet (ex. breadcrumbs).

     3.    Discussion:  How do we handle links that we determine are routing to a site and the actual resource could be directly linked?


Updates and follow up

  • Needed training:  Namespaces, input about what training is wanted
  • Maintenance Report - Sandra
    Working on FS Wiki external link page. Discuss terms and need to create policies for the following: consensus, and possible maintenance templates for Template:External links template for providing notice that the list of links may have grown to an inappropriate length and Template:Cleanup-spam warns of suspected non-compliant links.
  • Discuss the pro and con of merging help pages (Ex: the create a page pages)
