DODINGTON, a township and a chapelry in Whitchurch parish, Shropshire, within a half mile of Whitchuch. The church was a chapel of ease, dedicated to St Catherine's and was constructed in 1836. 
Birth, marriages and deaths were kept by the government, from July 1837 to the present day. The civil registration article tells more about these records.
