From 1688 there are priest and sexton records from the Cathedral church parish in Stavanger city. It included Hetland (or Frue rural parish) and Randaberg until 1848 when they became Hetland clerical district. The Cathedral church was separated from the combined Stavanger clerical district in 1860. These records are available on microfilm at the Family History Library.
