Parish History

HOMINGTON (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Alderbury, hundred of Cawden and Cadworth, Salisbury and Amesbury, and S. divisions of Wiltshire. It is located on a branch of the river Avon, 3½ miles (SW by S) of Salisbury railway station and 3 miles (S. W. by S.) from Salisbury. [1][2]
