How FHC Directors Can Find Timely Answers to QuestionsEdit This Page

From FamilySearch Wiki

The first window to open In the New FamilySearch Help Center contains the “Ask a Question” search window under the Find Answer tab. Immediately to the right of the “Ask a question” search window is a pull down tab for question categories. This initially contains the “New FamlySearch” category in the window. By clicking on the pull down tab you will find that you can change the question category to “all products”. When that is accomplished, an FHC Director can now enter key words for a question or problem related to the Family History Center and retrieve knowledge document (KD) answers for those key words. If you know the KD number which contains answers to your question or problem, you can enter that KD number in the search window and retrieve the requested document. For Example, KD 102132, is a document that outlines all the resources available for a FHC director. By placing 102132 in the “Ask a Question” search window and clicking on the “Search” button after the “all products” category is actuated, an FHC director is able to retrieve KD 102132 and print it for FHC use. New FamilySearch has now become the repository of most knowledge documents that will support our Family History Center endeavors. Try “Ask a Question”; You will appreciate receiving timely answers.
