  • 1st Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Evansville, Ind., August 5, 1861.
    Mustered in at Indianapolis, Ind., August 16, 1861.
    Mustered out August 22, 1865 (Montgomery, Alabama).
  • 2nd Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in August 9, 1861.
    Ordered to Indiana June, 1865, and mustered out at Indianapolis, Ind., July 3, 1865.
  • 8th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in December 13, 1861.
    Non-Veterans mustered out January 25, 1865. Veterans and Recruits consolidated with 7th Indiana Battery March 13, 1865.
  • 9th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in December 20, 1861.
    Non-Veterans mustered out March 6, 1865. Veterans and Recruits on duty at Camp Butler, Springfield, Ill., till June. Mustered out June 25, 1865.
  • 10th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., January 25, 1862, and ordered to Louisville, Ky..
    Moved to Indianapolis, Ind., July 2-6 and mustered out July 10, 1865.
  • 11th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in December 17, 1861.
    Ordered to Chattanooga, Tenn., and garrison duty there till November. Battery Consolidated with 18th Indiana Battery November 21, 1864.
  • 12th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Jeffersonville and Indianapolis and mustered in January 25, 1862.
    Non-Veterans mustered out December 23, 1864. Battery mustered out July 7, 1865.
  • 14th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Terre Haute, Ind., for one year's service May, 1861. Reorganized for three years' service and mustered in June 7, 1861.
    Mustered out June 16, 1864, expiration of term. Veterans and Recruits transferred to 20th Indiana Infantry
  • 18th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in August 20, 1862.
    Capture of Macon April 20. Duty at Macon, Chattanooga and Nashville till June. Mustered out June 23, 1865
  • 19th Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in August 5, 1862.
    March to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, Va., April 29-May 19. Grand Review May 24. Mustered out June 10, 1865.
  • 23rd Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in November 8, 1862.
    Surrender of Johnston and his army. Duty at Greensboro till June. Mustered out July 2, 1865.
  • Wilder Battery, Indiana Light Artillery
    Organized May, 1861, but not accepted. Mustered in as Company "A," 17th Indiana Infantry, June 12, 1861.
    Mustered out July 19, 1865(Greenville, East Tennessee).
