  • 1st Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    First organized at Pendleton, Ohio, for three months April and May, 1861, but not recognized by Kentucky until June, when reorganized for three years. Duty at Pendleton, Ohio, April to July, 1861.
    Operations against Morgan's Invasion of Kentucky May 31-June 18. Mt. Sterling June 9. Mustered out June 18, 1864.
  • 2nd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Pendleton, Ohio May and June, 1861.
    Ordered home June 3. Operations against Morgan in Kentucky until June 19. Mt. Sterling June 9. Mustered out June 19, 1864.
  • 6th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Sigel, Muldraugh's Hill and Shepherdsville, Kentucky, September 9 to December 24, 1861.
    Ordered to Louisville, Kentucky, Mustered out September 23, 1864, to January 2, 1865.
  • 7th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    "One of the first Recruited in the State. Old 3rd." Organized at Camp Dick Robinson, Kentucky, September 22, 1861.
    At Baton Rouge until May 1, 1865, and at Clinton until March, 1866. Mustered out March 11, 1866.
  • 8th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Estill Springs and Lebanon, Kentucky, October, 1861.
    At Bridgeport, Alabama, until January, 1865. Mustered out February, 1865. Veterans and Recruits transferred to 4th Kentucky Mounted Infantry.
  • 10th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Lebanon, Kentucky, November 21, 1861. Attached to 2nd Brigade, Army of Ohio, to December, 1861. 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Army of Ohio, to September, 1862. 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, 3rd Corps, Army of Ohio, to November, 1862. 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division (Centre), 14th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to January, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 14th Army Corps, to October, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division, 14th Army Corps, to December, 1864.
    Moved to Ringgold, Georgia, thence to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and duty there until November. Ordered to Kentucky November 14. Mustered out December 6, 1864.

    Organized at Camp Calhoun, Kentucky, December 9,1861.
    Ordered to Louisville, Kentucky, November 14; thence to Bowling Green, Kentucky, and duty there until December. Mustered out December 16, 1864.

    Company "A" organized at Camp Dick Robinson, Kentucky, September 26, 1861, and other companies near Waitsboro, Pulaski County, Kentucky, October, 1861, to January, 1862.
    Duty at Greensboro, North Carolina, until July. Mustered out July 11, 1865.
  • 13th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Camp Hobson, near Greensburg, Kentucky, and mustered in at Green River December 10, 1861.
    Ordered to Louisville, Kentucky, and mustered out January 12, 1865.
  • 14th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Camp Wallace, Lawrence County, Kentucky, December 10, 1861.
    at Louisa, Kentucky, protecting Virginia line until September, 1865. Mustered out September 15,1865.
  • 20th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Lexington, Camp Dick Robinson, and Smithland, Kentucky, and mustered in January 6, 1862.
    Ordered to Louisville, Kentucky, September, and guard duty there until January, 1865. Mustered out January 17, 1865.
  • 22nd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Louisa, Kentucky, January 20, 1862.
    At Baton Rouge, Louisiana, until January, 1865. Mustered out January 20, 1865. Veterans and Recruits transferred to 7th Kentucky Infantry.
  • 23rd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Camp King, Lexington, Kentucky, and mustered in January 2, 1862
    Duty at Indianola, Green Lake and Victoria, Texas until December 1865. Mustered out December 27, 1865.
  • 30th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Somerset and Frankfort, Ky. Companies "A," "B," "E" and "F" mustered in at Frankfort February 19, 1864; Company "G" March 29, 1864, and Companies "C," "D," "H," "I" and "K" at Camp Burnside, Ky., April 5, 1864.  Mustered out April 18, 1865.
  • 45th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at large October 10, 1863.  Mustered out Companies "A," "B," "C," "D," "E" and "F" December 24, 1864, and Companies "G," "H," "I" and "K" February 14, 1865.
  • 47th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Irvine and Camp Nelson, Ky., October 5, 1863, to January, 1864.  Mustered out Companies "A" to "H" at Lexington, Ky., December 26, 1864, and Companies "I" and "K" April 12, 1865.
  • 52nd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry (Union)
    Organized at Franklin and Scottsville, Ky. Companies "A," "B," "C" and "E" mustered in at Scottsville October 16, 1863; Company "D" October 17, 1863; Company "F" November 12, 1863, and Company "G" December 21, 1863. Companies "H," "I" and "K" mustered in at Franklin March 3, 1864.  Mustered out January 17, 1865.
