History

The parish was established on 19 September 1908 after splitting from Skt. Stefans parish. The parish was originally called Skt. Stefans Nordre parish (Skt. Stefans North parish), but is more commonly known after the name of the church - Kingos kirke (church dedicated 16 May 1910).
