The Mangaia, Cook Islands Family History Library is located in a classroom of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This facility has many micro films containing the vital records of Mangaian people.

FamilySearch Catalog: This centre has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.

Databases and Software

FHC Portal This centre does not have access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the centre to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Resources in the Local Area

There are a few original marriage records along with birth and death records in the Government Court offices.


Volunteer at the Centre

Local members of the church provide assistance on a request basis.
