MARCHINGTON, a chapelry, in the parish of Hanbury, union of Uttoxeter, N. division of the hundredof Offlow and of the county of Stafford, 4 miles(S. E. by E.) from Uttoxeter.
Marchington is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Staffordshire, created in 1739 from chapelry in Hanbury Ancient Parish. Other places in the parish include: Marchington Woodlands.
