    Organized by consolidation of Benton Hussars and 3 Companies of Hollan Horse February 14, 1862. Served unattached, 2nd Division, Army of Southwest Missouri, Dept. of Missouri, to October, 1862. Army of Southeast Missouri, Dept. of Missouri, to November, 1862.
  • 5th Regiment, Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis March 18, 1862, by consolidation of 5th United States Reserve Corps, Voerster's Company Sappers and Miners, Giester's Company Pioneers and Winkelman's Company Pontooneers.
    Companies "A" and "I" transferred to 25th Missouri Infantry, and Companies "H" and "K" to 27th Missouri Infantry.Companies "B," "C," "D," "E," "F" and "G" mustered out November 22, 1862.

  • 9th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized originally as Bowen's Cavalry Battalion, which was designated 9th Cavalry October, 1862, by consolidation with other Companies.
    Discontinued by consolidation with 10th Missouri Cavalry December 4, 1862. Companies "G" and "H" attached to 3rd Missouri Cavalry December 11, 1862.
  • 10th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, October, 1862, from 28th Missouri Infantry. Bowen's Battalion assigned as Companies "A," "B," "C" and "D," and six Companies organized for 9th Missouri Cavalry assigned December 17, 1862, as Companies "E," "F," "G" and "H."
    Served in various locations to May, 1865. Then with 2nd Brigade, 4th Division, Cavalry Corps, Military Division Mississippi, to June, 1865.
  • 10th Regiment, Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, August, 1861. Served at various locations to December, 1863. With the 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 15th Army Corps, to October, 1864.
  • 11th Provisional Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia (Union)
    9th Provisional Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia was enrolled between 8 September 1863 and 18 September 1863.[9].
  • 11th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at Benton Barracks and St. Joseph, Missouri, March 28 to December 11, 1863. Served at various locations to March, 1865. With the Separate Cavalry Brigade, Cavalry Division, 7th Army Corps, to July, 1865.
  • 12th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, November 3, 1863, to March 23, 1864. Served with various units to May, 1865. With the Department Missouri, Eastern Division, Powder River Expedition, and District of the Plains to April, 1866.
  • 12th Regiment, Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, August, 1861. Served with various units to December, 1863. With the 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 15th Army Corps, to November, 1864.

    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, September, 1864, to February, 1865, from Veterans of Missouri State Militia Regiments. Attached to District of Rolla and Dept. of Missouri to July, 1866.
  • 13th Regiment, Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, September, 1864, to February, 1865, from Veterans of Missouri State Militia Regiments. Attached to District of Rolla and Dept. of Missouri to July, 1866.
  • 14th Regiment Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized between August 20 1861 and November 9 1861. They were ordered into service between August 20 1861 and November 9 1861. The Regiment was discharged between August 27 1864 and July 7 1865.
  • 14th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis and Springfield, November 30, 1864, to May 13, 1865. Attached to District of St. Louis, Mo., to June, 1865. District of the Plains, Dept. of Missouri, to November, 1865.
    Duty at St. Louis, Missouri, until June, 1865. Scout from Waynesville to Coal Camp Creek May 23-26. Moved to Nebraska, and frontier duty on the Plains till November. Mustered out November 17, 1865.
  • 15th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized November 1, 1863, from 7th Regiment Enrolled Militia.
    Attached to District of Southwest Missouri, Department Missouri, to April, 1865. District of North Missouri, Dept. Missouri, to July, 1865.
  • 16th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at Springfield, Missouri, November 1, 1863, from 6th Regiment Enrolled Militia.
    Attached to District of Southwest Missouri, Department Missouri, to April, 1865, and to District of North Missouri, Department Missouri, to July, 1865.
  • 17th Regiment, Missouri Infantry (Union)
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, August, 1861. Served with various units to December, 1863. With the 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 15th Army Corps, to December, 1864.

    Organized at Laclede, Missouri, July to November, 1861. Served with various units to September, 1864. With the 1st Brigade, 1st Division, 17th Army Corps, to July, 1865.
