Orland also known as Alamasook; also known as Township Number 2 East of Penobscot River, Livermore Survey (T2 EPR LS); also known as Township Number 2 West of Union River; also known as Eastern River Township Number 2; existed as Number 2 East of Penobscot River Plantation in 1798; incorporated as the Town of Orland, Maine in 1800.[1] [2]
