RootsTech is a family history and technology conference and trade show, hosted by FamilySearch, held annually in the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the successor to three former conferences: the Conference on Computerized Family History and Genealogy, the Family History Technology Workshop and the FamilySearch Developers Conference.[1]  It is the largest family history conference in North America.

The first conference was held in February 2011, the second a year later in February 2012, the third conference in March 2013, and the fourth conference in February 2014.  The fifth conference was held February 12-14, 2015. The next conference is at February 3–6, 2016 in Salt Lake City.
