FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.


This is a Stake (multiple wards & branches) Family History Center.

This Sweetwater Stake FHC has a few computers and limited resources. 

The San Diego California FamilySearch Library a few miles away is a much larger facility with more resources and staff. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. And it has extended hours from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursdays. For more information, please click here.

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has NO ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog. Patrons must do this themselves after signing into their accounts.
