The following parishes comprise the union:
Swaffham Union was incorporated under the terms of the 1834 Act. The union workhouse was built at Swaffham in 1836. Union Board of Guardians was replaced by Guardians Committee No. 11 in 1930.
Acquisition Received by the Norfolk Record Office on 3 August 1976 (C/GP 16/38A 67, 118-140), 7 July 1978 (C/GP 16/141) and on unknown dates.
