Talk:Indians of IowaEdit This Page
From FamilySearch Wiki
It appears that somehow some of the agencies that historically were in Iowa for a short time have been removed from the list of agencies for the state. I have added the Sac and Fox Agency and the Upper Missouri Agency back on. Let's talk about it, if there was a reason they were removed. The Council Bluffs Agency was in Nebraska, but there was a Council Bluffs Subagency in Iowa from 1837 to 1846.

I'm so glad that you caught that! They were removed totally unintentionally. It looks like when I went in and put columns in somehow they disappeared in that edit. Thank you for fixing things! Lesson learned!

No problem. It's so easy to do things unintentionally on the Wiki. I can't tell you how manytimes I've had to go back and add things I deleted. And I do a lot of cutting and pasting and often put things on the wrong page or forget to change something when I've pasted it in to another page. Anyway, I really like what you are doing to help out! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for understanding! I always learn from the things that you put on the wiki, and I've now learned to be much more careful before I hit that save button!
