Criteria for posting 'Useful Websites' in wiki pages?
Ten minutes to discuss Criteria for placing "Useful Websites" in the wiki: Report on minutes of a meeting held by the Wiki "Website Criteria" team, May 1, 2008. (Phill)
Another example of a wiki to look at.
Here's another example of a wiki to take a look at how they structure things.
It's not exactly apples to apples on the software, but it's a very interesting one. Just sent feedback letting them know about FamilySearch Wiki inviting them to have a look.
For purposes of the user group this might be one to look at to see how they handle various things relating to their areas of interest, etc., what is the same? different? What can we learn from their project?
Forums server problems?
Any news on what caused the server to go down for the forums?
First I got a 404 error from the server hosting the forums and the rest of whatever is there, this morning it's a 403 error and in place of the server name it's 'AppStuff'.
Couldn't find where to contact about this in terms of feedback. JamesAnderson 14:56, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
At this time we do not know what caused the site to crash. As forums are still in beta, we will learn from this and be better prepared in the future. We are trying to get a hold of the person who can restore the site. Unfortunately, he is out of the office. Molliewog 16:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
They're back up at the regular URL already, that's very fast for the tech teams. Thanks Mollie for the updates. JamesAnderson 19:35, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
