Training Resources for Family History Callings on

The purpose of this page is to create one place where those who have family history callings in their Wards and Branches, Stakes and Districts, can come here and find links to helpful resources on

There will be changes to and these links may change (break), so it will be up to the community of consultants and Family History Center workers to help us keep these links up to date and active.

For a page to find resources on other web sites, other than, please click here.

Remember, all material on has been correlated and approved, that will not be the case for the resources on the other sites.

FamilySearch site for general resources and to sign up for emails

This site will allow you to sign-in, using your LDS Account, and access information and materials created by FamilySearch staff. The most important part is that there is a My Preferences tab where you can choose your calling (pick any, but when you sign in it will present you only materials relevant to that calling), update your email address, opt-in for regular email updates, or remove yourself from the list.

Resources for Family History Consultants

While in the future will have a separate site for consultant training, for now there is a Serving in the Church, Temple and Family History landing page that will take you to either the general resources page above, the Leader Resources page below, or the Youth site, below.  This will change over time.

Resources for Family History Center workers

While the general resources site, above, has information for Center Directors, there is no single place for Center Workers. You may find that the training resources for family history research on will be helpful.

Resources for High Priests Group Leader/Priesthood Leaders

Most of the resources for all priesthood leaders is found for now on the Leader Resources site. There are videos available for most leadership callings, including the HPGL.

Resources for Youth and Young Single Adults has a dedicated site for Youth.

A part of that site is dedicated to Family History for Youth, and includes messages from Elder David A. Bednar, and Success Stories and Testimonies from youth from around the world. It is vailable in 10 languages.
