Carol Ann Stott, mother of six and grandmother of 29, director of the Bowling Green KY Family History Center. Also served 6 months as a Service Missionary for Family History Center Support.
Under my service we have expanded to a 4 computer center with 4 microfilm readers including the one Minolta Printer, which we baby along. Keeping the equipment functioning is a major portion of my services as is encouraging the leadership on the importance of the work. Our staff has dwindled over the years due to illness, age and deaths. With this Wiki resource, we look forward to expanded ideas, assistance and insights and hope to increase our effectiveness in serving the Lord in this wonderful work.

A little background on myself. I was born in Whittier, California among extended family of grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins. We were always together for birthdays and holidays and had many great times together. My immediate family was the only to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I was the only one to serve a mission. I did so in the Central British Mission, which included Wales and the midlands of England. I returned home to Mercer Island, Washington where my parents had moved while I was away. I spent the summer there then attended Brigham Young University to finish my schooling. I met my husband Lee, there who was the manager of the BYU-FM station. We had our six children there in Utah, moved to Salt Lake City then after 20 years moved to Bowling Green KY, where he is the music director and program host for the Western Kentucky University NPR radio station. I am active as a volunteer in the community and love the beautify of this area, but five of our six children are in the West and that leaves a large void in my heart as the 27 grandchildren are in the West as are mine and my husband's siblings and cousins.
