Newfoundland and Labrador Divorce Records

Divorce Records for Newfoundland and Labrador are held by the Unified Family Court in St. John’s, Newfoundland for 60% of the province. The balance of the records are at the local court office (six centers) where the divorce took place.

In order to access these records you will need the File number and this can be obtain from the Central Registry of Divorce Proceedings referred to in the Divorce introduction in this course material.
