Known Issues

Question #1: Why can I not see the image when I click on the View image link on the record details page.
Answer #1: The links on this collection send you to a partner site – West Virginia Division of Culture and History. They are the custodians of the records and provide the links to the images. If you are unable to view them through our site you may visit their site at http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_select.aspx to search their records.

Question #2: My ancestor is indexed as being born in Wood, Mason County, West Virginia. Is this correct?
Answer #2: No, there is no Mason County in West Virginia. The records indexed this way belong in Wood County, West Virginia.
