The 104th Regiment, Illinois Infantry was organized at Ottawa, Illinois, and mustered in August 27, 1862, and ordered to Louisville, Kentucky. They march to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, Virginia, April 29-May 19. Grand Review May 24. It mustered out June 6 and discharged at Chicago, Illinois, July 11, 1865. .
