A valuable resource to those with Acadian ancestors is a cemetery project in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Since 2006, volunteers have been photographing Acadian cemetery headstones in many towns. To view the current photographs, and browse the list of cemeteries, go to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Cemeteries. An indexing project is currently underway to index the names on the headstones. Once all of the cemeteries have been indexed, a Master Index will be created.

The cemetery project sponsored by the Acadian and French-Canadian Ancestral Home, a site containing valuable genealogical and historical research information.
