Parish History

Aldbrough St Bartholomew is an Ancient Parish.

ALDBROUGH (St. Bartholomew), a parish, in the union of Skirlaugh, Middle division of the wapentake of Holderness, in the East Riding of Yorkshire; comprising the townships of Aldbrough, Newton-East, and NewtonWest, with part of Great and Little Cowden. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.[1]
